Shen stretched lazily and walked out onto the small training arena that had just recently been added by Shishou. It'd given him a place to practice his staff skills, something he really appreciated. He sighed, raking a hand through his reddish hair and adjusting his headwrap. He was glad that he was no where near the 'Prince Shen Fanclub.'
With a deep breath, the tiger launged into his normal rutine, swinging his staff and twirling it so expertly that it was soon no more than a crimson blur.

Leiko watched the tiger launch into his little routine, holding her own staff against her shoulder. She decided to come out of the corner, and start her own. She, after frustration, had cut the ring part off of it, and rounded that end to normal.

Of course, with his sharp hearing he had caught the slightest sound. Whirling around, his intense green-eyed gaze, almost like a tiger's, fixed upon the figure of a young girl. Shen paused and contemplated her for a moment, hoping that she wasn't one of the Prince Shen Fanclub.
"Hello," he said curtly, inclining his head towards her with a ghost of a smile on his face. He had to be polite, it was in his nature. He continued to twirl his staff absently, as quick as it was spinning before.

"So, prince. Managed to get away from the rabid banshees?" Leiko inquired, the 'rabid banshees' being the fanclub."Don't worry. I'd never join such a shallow club."she assured, then concentrated again, as she went into her own little staff routine.

Aha. He recognized that voice. The girl before him was his cousin, Leiko. He wondered why he didn't realize that before, and shook some of his hair from his eyes with a relieved smile. "For now, it appears." His eyes watched her routine, and he cut in smoothly by blocking one of her blows with his own staff.
A grin appeared on his handsome face, as he leaned in closer. "That's reassuring."

" And I have a lead pipe I could bring down on their pretty little heads." She was caught. His staff had just blocked her own,her arms crossed in a spiral fashion. She smirked and moved her staff abruptly, sending him the other way."Nice try tiger boy, but this ox isn't as stupid as you think."

Shen regained his footing easily, a smirk on his face. "I never said anything of the sort," he returned, tossing his staff and catching it neatly even though it was behind him. His eyes were filled with amusement. "As for the lead pipes, feel free to use them any time." Another smile appeared on his usually stern face.

Leiko smirked back, tossing her staff from behind and catching it in front. The ox contemplated using the pipes on the head. She twirled her staff like a baton.

"I haven't seen you around lately," Shen commented, tossing his staff with a lazy flick of his wrist and then catching it again, without effort. His movements were poised and full of grace, like a tiger's. He realized then that he wasn't wearing a shirt, but decided not to make a big deal out of it. Boy, would the Fanclub have a field day over this.

"I've been inside a little."the ox replied, attempting a blow at Shen."I'm surprised Shihan isn't here."
